Driven by premium servo motors, the EW-8850 replaces traditional mechanical arm structures with a high-speed translational system. This ensures a positioning accuracy of ±0.5mm for short wires and maintains a perfectly vertical orientation during the crimping process, significantly reducing terminal deformation.
The machine supports diverse operating modes including single-ended crimping, double-ended crimping, and even double-wire doubling (two wires into one terminal). This versatility allows manufacturers to handle complex harness designs with a single piece of equipment, maximizing production flexibility.
Equipped with a comprehensive sensing array, the system provides real-time monitoring for terminal presence, wire knotting, and low air pressure. For high-end applications, it supports optional Crimp Force Monitoring (CFM) and CCD Vision Inspection to prevent defective products from entering the supply chain.
Unlike conventional swing-arm machines, the EW-8850 features a front-translational structure and independent blade holder design. This allows for ultra-fast applicator and blade changeovers, minimizing downtime and making it ideal for high-mix, low-volume (HMLV) production environments.
